For 30 years, WCT has offered a cultural and educational resource for the community by providing opportunities for all children to appreciate and participate in the performing arts.

WCT provides a range of theatre education experiences for children of all ages and diverse cultures. It fosters self-discovery, creativity, confidence, group responsibility, and pride in accomplishment. WCT also contributes to the development of skills in an enjoyable and non-competitive environment.

Since the first production in 1983, WCT has touched thousands of children and their families. WCT not only contributes to the community, but creates community. In its third decade of providing high-quality theatrical programming, it is more crucial than ever that children and families experience being part of a community where each person’s efforts build toward a whole.

WCT is growing! It is expanding by offering more programs than ever before, both in local public schools and at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, where WCT is the resident children’s theatre.
