Shakespearience A Midsummer Night's Dream
Grades 5-8

All the world’s a stage… and it’s time for you to share the spotlight! Two young couples fall prey to the trickery of mischievous fairies, and bumbling actors rehearse a performance for the Duke in Shakespeare’s beloved magical romp through the Athenian woods! In this class, students receive a hands-on introduction to Shakespeare’s work while developing acting technique. This program will culminate with a performance for family and friends.

Broadway Live! Summer Travels Filled
Grades 3-5

Dates: July 30-August 10, Monday-Friday, 9 am - 4 pm
Location: Arsenal Center for the Arts, WCT Drama Space
Final performance: Friday, August 10

Travel the world without leaving the stage as WCT returns to Broadway in Summer Travels! This two-week program is perfect for the experienced actor or for those hitting the stage for the first time! Build your musical theater skills and become a “triple threat” performer by training with our directors in voice, dance and acting, all while working on ensemble scenes and musical numbers from hit Broadway shows! On the last day, students will perform a showcase for family and friends!

ArtVenturers Myths and Legends

Wonderland... Narnia... Mount Olympus! Students will explore these magnificent places and the many characters and adventures within. Stories of magic and wonderment will be brought to life through theatre, visual art and music. This fun and exciting program teaches fundamentals of the arts to our youngest participants. Myths and Legends will conclude with a performance by the students for family and friends.
