PLAY FACTORYPlay Factory, WCT’s black box theatre series, provides dedicated student actors the unique opportunity to gain advanced theatre skills while rehearsing and performing a literary-based, non-musical play with professionally designed costumes, scenery, and lighting. Actors will benefit from collaborating within a small cast and working together to develop a fully-staged production for the public and students from local schools. James and the Giant Peach A magical peach! An imprisoned boy! Insect friends! This staged adventure will fulfill the fantasy of any young actor who has ever dreamed of escape. Roald Dahl’s timeless tale will come hilariously to life in this delightful play, including James Henry Trotter’s thrilling journey with a band of bugs across the sea. There is not an Orientation/Audition Process for Play Factory productions. Parent volunteers will be needed to assist with backstage, costumes, sets/props, load-in/strike, and tickets.
